Domaine de Montille’s Bourgogne Blanc “Le Clos du Château” 2023 is a polished, serious Chardonnay, awarded 90 points by Jasper Morris MW. The wine comes from an enclosed 4.90-hectare vineyard beside Château de Puligny-Montrachet, close to the village’s celebrated vineyards despite its Bourgogne AOC classification.

Productie
Le Clos du Château’s deep soils of silt and clay lend the wine a generous character. The Chardonnay ferments in 228- and 600-litre barrels, then completes its maturation in stainless steel to preserve freshness and energy. No details about the harvest method are provided.
