In the glass, the wine shines a clear, bright pale yellow with a fresh rim. The nose opens with ripe stone fruit such as peach and mandarin, lifted by citrus and a delicate hint of vanilla and caramel from short ageing in oak. On the palate, it is lively yet rounded. Fresh citrus acidity gives the wine energy, while ripe fruit and a soft, creamy texture create an easy, comforting style. Flavours of peach, lemon and a touch of tropical fruit are supported by light notes of toast and vanilla. The finish is soft and balanced, with a pleasant interplay between freshness and gentle creaminess. Best enjoyed young while its fruit and vibrant character are at their most expressive.
