Les Chasseignes is crafted in Sancerre, in the Loire Valley, where the cool climate and varied soils help Sauvignon Blanc retain its freshness, precision and aromatic clarity. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo long pneumatic pressing to obtain a clean, delicate must. Alcoholic fermentation takes place partly in tank and partly in barrel, followed by 8 months of aging to build texture and complexity without losing the wine’s vivid character.

Eten & Serveren
This Sancerre is a natural match for fresh seafood, oysters, shellfish, grilled fish and goat’s cheese, but it also works beautifully with asparagus, citrus-led salads and lightly herb-roasted poultry. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C. Decanting is not necessary, although a short aeration can help the wine open up if served young.
