In the glass, the wine shows a bright, pale golden color with a lively sheen. The nose is classic and nuanced, with aromas of white peach, citrus peel, yellow flowers, wet stone, butter, and a subtle touch of toast. On the palate it feels fresh and fruit-driven, yet with a discreet roundness that gives the wine extra depth. The acidity is vibrant, carrying flavors of light stone fruit and a distinct mineral core, while the fine oak influence adds just a hint of buttery richness and toast. The balance suggests good aging potential, with the wine likely to gain even more complexity over the next few years.

Productie
The grapes come from eight carefully selected parcels near Puligny-Montrachet, on limestone-rich clay soils at an altitude of around 230 to 250 meters. The vineyards are cultivated according to sustainable principles, and the harvest is carried out entirely by hand to ensure only healthy, fully ripe fruit reaches the cellar. After a strict sorting on arrival, the wine is vinified and aged for 12 months, including 9 months in French oak barrels, 15% of which are new, before finishing its maturation in stainless steel tanks.

Eten & Serveren
This is an excellent match for delicate fish dishes, shellfish, and refined poultry preparations. Try it with steamed turbot in white wine sauce or guinea fowl with a silky cauliflower purée. Serve ideally at 10-12°C, and while decanting is not essential, a brief aeration can help open up the wine’s aromatic complexity if it is served young.
