Moulin-à-Vent has held cru status since 1936; the tasting note provided is for the 2019 vintage, so the 2025 may show a different character.

Proefnotities
The supplied note describes the 2019 as bright and fresh, with pure red-berry and woodland-fruit aromas, followed by hints of allspice, cardamom, cocoa, cherry stone and almond. On the palate, concentrated dark-berry fruit meets lively acidity, a mineral impression attributed to quartzite and granite soils, and fine, velvety tannins. No appearance description is provided, and these notes should be treated as a guide to the wine’s style rather than a precise profile of the 2025 vintage.

The structured style of Moulin-à-Vent can reward a few years in the cellar, though the ageing potential of this 2025 bottling is not specified.

Productie
The wine comes from Les Michelons in Moulin-à-Vent, where granite and quartzite are noted in the supplied description. Details about the 2025 harvest, vineyard work and vinification have not been provided.

Eten & Serveren
Try it with roast chicken, grilled pork, duck or mushroom dishes, whose savoury flavours complement Gamay’s fruit and fine tannins. Serve slightly cool, around 14–16 °C. A brief decant can help open the wine, particularly if it is young; older bottles are best handled gently.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0699/4591/7571/files/yohan-lardy-moulin-a-vent-les-michelons-2025-0.jpg?v=1793298347
